So Carly had her birthday today! We're going to celebrate it
tomorrow with some cupcakes and presents and stuff. Today we cleaned
the house, did some chores, went to the YMCA pool with Sarah and then
to a local dairy place where they sell little cups of home-made
ice-cream for 60 cents each. We all had a great time and the kids
went right to sleep afterwards! :D William was pretty much
independent the entire time at the pool! He could only stand up in
the shallowest part, but he, all by himself at his own insistence, got
in the pool and pulled himself all around the edge of it! He also
made bubbles in the water...no Anna, with his mouth...and just plain
had a lot of fun! Michael is still a bit scared of the water but he
did a LOT better than normal (i.e. he didn't scream bloody murder the
whole time that he was in the water.) Carly just plain old had a
blast! She looked really darn cute in her little black bathing suit!
She would just laugh and splash the water and kick her little feet and
just have a great time! And, of course, none of them felt like they
got enough ice-cream. :)
