In my ever more desperate attempts to put off working on my last
final project of the semester, I thought that I would send out some
new pictures of the kids and include a short update on our branch of
the family.
Carly can sit up on her own...most of the time...now and is
starting to enjoy the time-honored game of 'look mommy I dropped my
pacifier/toy again!'
Michael is still just a darn cute kid!  He's been working on his
potty training lately, which basically means that he runs around in
nothing but a T-shirt and enjoys doing handstands.  He also enjoys
peeing on the floor and asking desperately for a diaper when he feels
a BM coming on.
William is really progressing with his speaking and reading!
Though his listening could still use some work sometimes...  He was
really excited about wearing his new shoes to church yesterday (see
pictures) and pointed them out to all of his friends, which sparked a
good, in-depth conver
sation of shoes in his class.  :)  He also
brought home a small booklet that he had made in his Sunday School
class.  It was several small coloring pictures stapled together:
Jesus, a family, the scriptures, and a chapel.  I remember the last
one best because when he showed me that one he told this interesting
story of someone falling off of the roof while screaming.  Then he
looked up at me and said with a big smile: that was you Daddy!
Jenny has been keeping very busy with the three kids, the house,
her church responsabilities and the co-op preschool!  I think that she
is still trying to process having just turned ##.  :)
As I hinted at earlier, I'm still have one final project to go
for this semester.  Classes end this week and this project is due next
Monday.  That same day I am also administering a final exam to my 42
Spanish 1 students, which I have to grade within 48 hours or something
dreadful will happen.  I'm not sure what.  But that is certainly the
look that the secretaries give you when they mention it!  I'm also
starting training this week for a summer job that I'll be doing until
I start taking classes in mid-June.  I'll be calling alumni and asking
them for money...for the university, not myself.  :)  I'm not really
looking forward to this job, but it should help a little with the
finances.
Anyway, I've run out of interesting things to say and it's time
to go to my Syntax class (that's the class where you learn how to look
interested while you sleep through a lecture.)  I hope that you are
all well!
