So, most of you are probably unaware of the fact that Carly had a pretty traumatic experience a few days ago. She had just finished having a bowel movement on the toilet, but when she flushed, the water didn't go down!! To her complete horror, the water "got bigger and bigger!" Jenny jumped to the rescue and fixed the toilet, explaining that it was just that there had been too much stuff in the toilet. Apparently Michael had had one of his legendary poos, (which can be bigger than mine) and hadn't flushed (he's scared of flushes.) In retrospect, it might have been better to tell Carly that she was hallucinating and the water never did back up. I say this because our once perfectly potty-trained little angel is now terrified of the toilet. Instead of just going peepee or poopoo in the toilet all by herself, like she used to, she how bursts into tears and tries to hold back as long as she can, running around the house with a hand clamped firmly on whichever end is currently trying to emit something. Needless to say she's been soiling her panties a LOT lately. The reason I bring this up, is that I just heard her whimpering in her bedroom, so I meandered in there... just in time to catch a big ol' log with my bare hand before it hit the floor. Ugh. I sure hope she gets over this new paranoia soon! :P
In other news, on Sunday William beat me fair and square at SmallWorld, Quirkle and Connect 4! What's up with that?! True, I beat him like 20 times at Connect 4 and once at SmallWorld, but I shouldn't be losing to him at all yet! My plan for this Sunday is to challenge him to a round of Risk and see how he likes them apples. >:o} If that doesn't work, we may have to take up paintball.
And that brings us to little Mr. Michael. Our angel middle child. Michael has started this thing recently where he really wants to watch Daddy play New Super Mario Brothers Wii, but he knows that Daddy won't play alone, so he asks to play with Daddy. Then he joyfully kills himself off as fast as he can so that he can watch Daddy play. But Daddy is starting to pick up on this, and Daddy has a plan. It mostly involves Daddy's little mario guy picking up Michael's little mario guy and carrying him through the level. :) Michael gets quite a kick out of that! And he especially loves jumping out of my guy's arms right when I'm above something deadly, like a bottomless pit or spikes or lava, which causes both of us to plummet to our death, which he gleefully points out as he's jumping up and down with a huge smile on his face all over the living room. Yes, Michael loooooooooves playing games with Daddy! :)
